Salvia

Salvia is a psychoactive herb and part of the Lamiaceae family. Its name Salvia Divinorum translates as “Sage of the Seers” although it is also known as Diviners Sage, Ska Pastora, Shepherdess’s Herb, Sally D, and Yerba de Maria.
Salvia is found in the Sierra Mazatec area of Mexico and was traditionally used by Mazatec shamans to enter altered states of consciousness during rituals.
