Essential Oils For Radiation.

Tea Tree Essential Oil -  Helpful in cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment. This oil can be used topically to minimize and protect the body from damage caused by radiation.

Cypress Essential Oil -  Rebuilds the white blood cells damaged by exposure to radiation. Also good for bleeding gums.

Lavender Essential Oil – Alleviates the pain and speeds the healing from radiation burns.

Myrtle Essential Oil – Large doses of radiation will affect the thyroid. Potassium Iodide (KI) will block the iodine during the initial attack and the fourteen days of most radiation exposure. Myrtle will help to insure that the thyroid will be working the way it should be.

Oregano Essential Oil – Very powerful essential oil that has a significant effect. (see below) This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of gamma radiation alone or in combination with oregano essential oil on the murein composition of Escherichia coli O157:H7 and on the intracellular and extracellular concentrations of ATP. The bacterial strain was treated with three radiation doses: 0.4 kGy to induce cell damage, 1.1 kGy to obtain a viable but nonculturable state, and 1.3 kGy to cause cell death. Oregano essential oil was used at 0.006 and 0.025% (wt/vol), which is the MIC. All treatments had a significant effect (P 0.05) on the murein composition, although some muropeptides did not seem to be affected by the treatment. Each treatment had a different effect on the relative percentage and number of muropeptides. There was a significant correlation (P 0.05) between the decrease in intracellular ATP and the increase in extracellular ATP following treatment of the cells with oregano oil. The reduction of intracellular ATP was even more important when oregano oil was combined with irradiation, but irradiation alone at a high dose (1.1 kGy) significantly decreased (P 0.05) the internal ATP without affecting the external ATP. Transmission electron microscopic examination revealed that oregano oil and irradiation have an effect on cell wall structure.

Wire actress 'Snoop' arrested on drugs charges.

Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson, an actress who appeared on the HBO series the wire has been charged with conspiring to sell heroin and was one of dozens arrested in early morning raids across Baltimore.
Pearson, 30, is among 64 people charged in a joint state-federal prosecution of a large east Baltimore drug gang. She is charged in state court with conspiring with two men to distribute heroin and aiding and abetting.
Local television showed video of federal agents leading Pearson from an apartment building downtown to a waiting police van. She was one of 37 people arrested by about 450 federal, state and local officers. Twenty-two face state charges and 15 are charged in a federal indictment unsealed with conspiracy to distribute drugs and possession with intent to distribute. A 38th person arrested earlier this month was charged in a federal criminal complaint. Authorities are still looking for the remaining 26 people charged.
Officers seized $69,000, four guns, marijuana and heroin in "Operation Usual Suspects," which built on hundreds of hours of investigation dating back to 2008, Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld said.
"People might say, 'From 2008, what took you so long?"' Bealefeld said. "We want to build good, solid prosecutions."
"They're going out a doing shootings and murders and robbing innocent people across our city," he said. "You got our attention and we're going to put together a big anvil and drop it on your head."
"The Wire," which ran from 2002 to 2008, was filmed in Baltimore and put a spotlight on the city's struggle with poverty and drug violence through the stories of the city's police, drug organizations, schools, politicians and media. Pearson's character, which shares the nickname "Snoop," knocks off several people for the fictitious Stanfield drug gang.
This is not Pearson's first brush with the law. She was convicted of second-degree murder in a slaying committed when she was 14. She served five years of an eight-year sentence and was released in 2000.
Pearson was arrested on a minor drug charge in 2008 when police went to her home to pick her up for refusing to cooperate as a witness in the trial of Steven Lashley, who was accused of stabbing three men, killing one, in an adult-entertainment district in downtown Baltimore called "The Block."
The Baltimore Sun reported last year that after Pearson informed the parties that she would invoke her right against self-incrimination if forced to testify, Lashley pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and two counts of assault. Court records show Pearson was found not guilty on the drug charge.

Charlie Sheen Drug Being Sold.

MEDICAL marijuana dispensaries in California are selling pot labeled "Charlie Sheen" in honour of the troubled star, TMZ reported today.
The "Charlie Sheen" cannabis was flying off the shelves at several outlets last week.
Demand for the drug was so great that growers were being asked to put in more crops to keep up with the market, the website said.
The new marijuana brand was launched after one of Sheen's bizarre interviews on US television last week.
He defended his increasingly erratic behaviour by saying, "I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen."
Medical marijuana was legalized in California in 1996 in a move that led to the opening of marijuana dispensaries around the state.
